A Necessary Tech Tool To Know In Your SEO Endeavors
I find SEO interesting, fun even. It’s like a great puzzle or math equation that we’re all rushing to learn the answer to. It’s constantly evolving and there’s always something new to learn on it.
This is an overview to one of the best SEO tools you want to have in your toolbox.
Moz has a 30-day free trial that you can start off with (I signed up for it) to jumpstart your SEO.
The biggest thing I’ve enjoyed about Moz is the keyword explorer.
As you can see here, if you were trying to build a product page for, say, a bpa free water bottle, you would type the phrase into Moz’s keyword overview and within seconds you’re able to know everything SEO relate to that phrase. Including some suggestions that you should also target.
Moz’s priority Score makes it easy to zero-in on keywords that have the best combination of search volume, organic CTR and competition.
Keyword Explorer is AWESOME at generating new keyword ideas.
Fresh Word Explorer
Fresh Web Explorer is basically a brand mention monitoring tool.
But unlike most tools that passively scrape the web and alert you when they find a mention, Fresh Web Explorer lets you search for recent mentions.
Fresh Web Explorer is helpful for content promotion and link building.
Another great feature of Moz is the On-Page Grader. You can take your website’s home page or product page and see how it’s doing in regards to your target keyword.
Moz will also give you a breakdown of your page the factors that are helping and hurting your page and give you suggestions on how to work on your page.
MozBar is a Chrome extension that gives you link data (like Domain Authority and Page Authority) inside of the SERPs:
Moz Pro Campaigns
Moz Pro Campaigns help you gather data on your site’s Rankings, Page Optimization, Site Crawl, and Link Metrics to help you implement your own SEO strategies.
You can add your target keywords into your campaign and Moz will compare how you’re doing compared to your competition.
You can also track your biggest competitors and compare their progress to yours.
With your Moz Pro Campaign you can:
